Windows 95 DDK Annotations
Visit this page to obtain up-to-date annotations for the help file (DDPR.HLP) that accompanies the Windows 95 DDK. These are the same annotations that appear on the code disk for Walter Oney's "Systems Programming for Windows 95" (Microsoft Press 1996) plus more.In the future, I'll be posting an annotation utility on this page to make it easy to integrate ASCII text files containing help annotations with your existing HLP and ANN files.

Unzip the file DDPR.ANN into the HELP subdirectory of your Windows directory. WinHelp will find it automatically when you next open DDPR.HLP (which is the name of the DDK help file). To verify correct installation, lookup (say) Exec_Vxd_Int. You should see the green paper clip indicating the presence of an annotation.

Note that the April 1996 version of DDPR.HLP is identical to the July 1996 version, so you can use the same annotation file with both editions.
